Connecting Appalachia’s advocacy efforts are funded by our principal partners, supporting government agencies, civic organizations, community groups and utility partners.

Buckeye Hills Regional Council is a council of governments dedicated to improving the lives of residents in southeast Ohio.

By working collaboratively with elected officials across Athens, Hocking, Meigs, Monroe, Morgan, Noble, Perry, and Washington counties, we grow strong communities through their five divisions: Aging & Disability, Community Development, Mapping & Data, Population Health, and Transportation Planning.

OMEGA is a collaborative body of member governments that serves as a facilitator between state and federal government agencies and local entities to provide opportunities in economic and community development through networking, education, planning, research, and allocation of resources.

OMEGA serves ten Ohio counties: Belmont, Carroll, Columbiana, Coshocton, Guernsey, Harrison, Holmes, Jefferson, Muskingum, & Tuscarawas.

OVRDC is a regional partnership dedicated to the development of Southern Ohio. We coordinate federal, state and local resources to serve members from twelve counties.

The service focus of OVRDC is: Economic and Community Development, Project Development, Coordination and Finance, Transportation Planning, Mapping and Data Resources, and Small Business Gap Lending​

OhioSE is a private non-profit economic development corporation that works with companies to facilitate growth, capital investment and job creation.  Providing access to financial resources and incentives, guidance on economic and community development strategies, and encouraging collaboration in a 25 county region throughout Southern, Eastern and Southeastern Ohio.

Ohio University’s Voinovich School of Leadership and Public Affairs is a leader among public service schools, working in public-private partnerships to develop research-based solutions to challenges facing communities, the economy and the environment.

The foundation promotes community and economic development through research, education, charity, and training conducted in support of the overall mission of Buckeye Hills Regional Council. By convening leaders, officials, practitioners, and stakeholders across sectors through the primary tenets of the Foundation, the opportunities provided will improve the quality of life for residents in southeast Ohio

Reid Consulting Group (RCG) is a network of professionals with expertise in technology architecture, network design, regulatory policy, communications, and project management.

RCG helps clients develop creative programs with a focus on securing external funding to make those programs happen.
